EXPO 2020 MUSIC DEPARTMENT – BKP were selected to represent Dubai as the Expo 2020 Music Department, responsible for many of the ambient soundscapes throughout the site, the recording of the 49th National Day National Anthem orchestra, the celebratory daily parade music, the composition of the Official Expo 2020 song ‘This Is Our Time’ and providing 51 musicians across the site on a daily basis covering 7 stages and over 68,000 minutes of performances. For the live performances, we used music as an international, all-inclusive language to create a sensorial experience for all participants, visitors, volunteers and our own musicians, by speaking to the audience on behalf of Expo and the space personalities through sound. The sounds of expo connected to all ages, all cultures and all generations, while instigating moments of inspiration, nostalgia and inquisitiveness throughout the Expo site, to invigorate a passion, a feeling, a drive to provoke new ways of thinking and unlocking potential. The history of music was acknowledged, using ethnic and traditional instruments, sounds, melodies and settings, while modern Arabic twists and innovative fusions created surprise and wonderment.
MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE – We were responsible for creating and delivering an immersive audio experience. We produced original music and sound design, along with audio programming and technical production. The result was a fully immersive audio environment that enhanced the overall event experience.
PALM WORLD RECORD – We provided a range of audio services, including sound design, music production, and technical support. We created a unique audio identity for the event and delivered high-quality audio experiences across multiple stages and locations, with a team of experienced audio engineers and producers.
