This week he would like to shed some light on a rather impressive plugin called “Unfilter” by Zynaptiq.

what is Unfilter?

A plugin that automatically removes various filtering effects or heavy equalisation from a signal.

why is it cool?

it acts a fabulous restoring tool, giving life to poor recordings, dialogue etc. whilst having great presets that act as a solid starting point. It also works wonders on cleaning up the low and mid end on music projects.

what do you think makes it unique?

the fact that it can be used as an equaliser with a 96 decibel shelf in the high pass filter
